What style speaks to you?

Contemporary Garden

Contemporary Gardens are characterized by a less is more look.   Plants are thoughtfully  placed among hardscaping elements such as rocks, pavers and decorative containers. This style allows your eyes to rest at the different points of interest.

Cottage Gardens

Cottage Gardens, often considered romantic and flowing, are full of old fashioned flowers planted in layers.  If you are an active gardener that enjoys tending a variety of plants and flowers this may speak to you.  The Cottage Garden requires attention to good watering and consistent maintenance.

Formal Gardens

Formal Gardens feature interesting patterns edged with herbs or Boxwoods filled with flowering and ornamental plants. The individual patterns  work together creating a symmetrical design which is pleasing to the eye. Statues, fountains, ornamental trees, and planted containers offer vertical interest.

Native Gardens

Native Sustainable Gardens pay tribute to the plants of a particular region.  This naturally free flowing design creates the habitat necessary to sustain local bird and pollinator populations. Native Sustainable Gardens often appeal to those who enjoy having a garden with minimal upkeep.

Rain Gardens

Rain Gardens capture runoff water, reducing the likelihood of pollutants flowing into the Chesapeake Bay. They are ideal for low lying areas and near drainage pits which are often a part of new home construction.  Rain Gardens contain carefully chosen plants that thrive in alternating wet and dry environments, thus minimizing the need for continuous hands on care.

Rain Gardens

Kitchen culinary gardens provide a delightful combination of both form and function. They often go beyond being a practical source of fresh herbs and vegetables and provide insight into the cook's personality and taste.  Fresh herbs can provide protection from pests, add a wonderfully fresh taste to any meal, and in the holistic world have many health benefits beyond their traditional use.
